Servoy Repository

Q&A regarding installation and issues getting started with Servoy

Servoy Repository

Postby info1332613560 » Wed May 20, 2015 6:44 pm

Hello,
I'm new to Servoy and I need your help: I've just installed Servoy Developer and chose the option " PostgreSQL Standard Server by EnterpriseDB" for the installation. When I open Servoy I see a "X" on all database servers in the solution explorers. I read, when using the full-featured PostgreSQL installation, the repository will need to be manually installed with "servoy_server.bat -upgradeRepository".
However, it doesn't work: I get the message, the command is false.
Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

It sounds to me that the PostgreSQL server is not running which can be caused by several things one of which is that the installer didn't had enough rights to really finish the install and initialize the database cluster.
Without this PostgreSQL won't run.

On what OS did you installed this? Also what Servoy version is this?
