Q&A regarding installation and issues getting started with Servoy

Servoy using a raspberry

Postby alk » Fri Feb 17, 2017 10:40 am

Good Morning,

did anybody try to run Servoy Smart Client on a raspberry?
I have java on the raspberry, but during loading the jnlp-file I got a lot of error messages.

Servoy as Smart Clinet would be a nice argument for aquirring customes :)

Any linux or raspberry specialist with some tipps?

Thanks

Ralf

Hi Robert,

I am no expert on raspberry.....
For starting the servoy application's smartclient you must download the file sappiamo.jnlp and starting it.
To do this with the raspberry I installed besides Java (it's already installed in the basic version of raspberry s ios) the program "iced Tea-Web" which is a launcher of jnlp-files since the rasp-java version does not have any installer.
So starting the jnlp-file with Ices Tea-Web it tries to load some beans, plugins etc....
then I get the following screen:

Using "Ja" or "Nein" doesn't matter,
it tries to download and the same error-screen will be displayed.

Any idea?

Thanks
Ralf
