Update 8.3 to 8.4 Failure

I attempted to update our customers from Servoy version 8.3 to 8.4 and received many Access is denied messages. Is 8.4 no longer available as an update? If so, how can I get it?

are you running the updater when there is also a developer or server running on that same installation?

Hi, Johan. I hope you are doing well.

Server only, no developer. The server service was stopped before attempting the update. I hope that is's been long time since I performed an update.

then you really need to check why you don't have access to replace those files
Because it seems to me that is what it tells you "C:\Servoy\application_server\beans\datagrid.jar (Access is denied)" it can't access that file to overwrite it.

Thanks, Johan. I will check with the customer's IT staff to see if they changed privileges on the Servoy folder.
