Moved Smart Client to new server Data Broadcast Fails

I moved my smart client installation (2019.3.0 -releaseNumber 3412) to a new server and data broadcasting is failing and I'm getting some errors in the logs.

The users are also getting the message:
Reconnect failed
Old transaction,old locks or in-memory data sources found, need to restart the solution

I did restart the solution and the issues are still happening. Any ideas?

This was a java issue. We had been using Java 8 91 and the upgraded server had Java 8 341. We downgraded to Java 8 181 and that fixed the issue.

So, what's the latest version of java JRE that works both on a Windows 2019 server and a Mac and PC (smart) client that we can safely run. Surely it must be later than .181 ?

I'd either stick with the version that's shipped with the Servoy developer that you are using or you use the most recent lts version from https://adoptium.net/.

If you need JavaFX for the smart client you could look into https://openjfx.io/openjfx-docs/#install-javafx or use a lts version from https://www.azul.com/downloads/#zulu.

We successfully used adoptopenkd / adptium on server and Azul on client when we were using smart clients.
