The System Requirements indicate that the JRE is required for Servoy Client and that the JDK is required for Servoy Developer and Servoy Server.
It appears that if we do an installation of just JRE with Developer along with our solution, the solution works fine (we set designer.enabled=off in the servoy.properties file). What are we missing by not intalling the full JDK?
With regard to Servoy Server is JDK always required?

some sections needs tools.jar and that jar is only included in the JDK.
