problem to launch after installing on french Mac OSX

Postby bubu » Tue Aug 26, 2003 5:36 pm

After installing on a PBook with french Mac OS 10.2.6

I have this error message :

Can not connect to the repository server specified in the application preferences

Details :

org.firebirds.jdbc.FBSQLException: Resource exception.
Unable to complete network request to host "localhost".
Reason: Unable to complete network request to host "Localhost".

I tried the W 98 solution :
remove all files in the database folder except EMPTY.GDB
and remove the servoy.properties file

but still the same problem.

Do i need to run another installation (FireBird) ?
Is SERVOY working on french Mac OS X ?

many thanks
bubu

After you installed, did you restart the mac before trying to open Servoy?
If it was a clean first time install, and you didnt restart. Delete the Servoy folder and do a fresh install - restart and then fire up Servoy...

If this suggestion is incorrect then I will have to think again ;-)
