Preferred picture format for printing

Postby miltenb » Tue Dec 22, 2009 1:18 pm

Using Servoy 5.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.2.

Hi All,

Could someone advise me on which file format to use when printing logo's ? A client supplied me with a CYMK-jpeg, but Servoy doesn't seen to work with this kind of file.
I could convert it to RGB off course, but as these ( company logo's ) are used on the printable documents ( letter, invoice , that sort of thing ), shouldn't servoy ( or is it java in this case ? ) just support this color profile ?

Any advise ?

TIA

Indeed CYMK is not yet supported(there is a case about this). I think there must be some external software to convert them(or use print screen ? :) ). Also you can create a case, write to Servoy Support ... depending on how important is this feature for you.
