Importing CSV or Excel into TiNG

Hi all

In the good old days, an import of a text file was done with File > Import > From Text File or From Excel

Is there a TiNG version of this or do we have to write the whole thing ourselves? Perhaps there is a module we can import or that someone has ?

Hi Bevil,

you can use the svyExcelUtils for this, which is part of the svyUtils module.
You can install that using the Servoy Package Manager.

You will also need the Jasper Reports plugins as well as additional POI library.

We are trying to implement this but struggling (actually, we already have the csv in an array, our problem is getting it to match up with a data grid so that we can create a button to 'import' to the table.)

You wouldn't happen to have any code to do this lying about would you?
