systemdate issue

Postby Andy » Thu Apr 26, 2007 10:18 pm

Hi,

I have the following problem.

I made a global date field with the default value now

It shows my system date fine till now, but on 12:00 PM the date changes to the next day.

Can you help me out? I looked at my regional settings and every thing looks fine (my time zone is selected).

Thank you

Andy

It sounds correct that the day advances by one at midnight, doesn't it?

Thank you for your reply.

I figure that that should be the problem. The only thing is that this is very confusing.

Case: open set the date at x and time at 10 AM every thing is fine.
Now change your system date to y and check the today fuction and it will still show x if tou reopen you solution the new dat will be there.

If you reopen and change time to 12 am the date will change.
(This only if you use time format hh:mm:ss)
and even if you change date it will not change untiil you restart the solution.

That is what had caused the confusion

Thank you

Andy

That's very strange. Servoy just asks your system (the JVM on your system) for the current date and time. So there should be no difference. What time zone have you set in Servoy?
