At the last Virtual User Group meeting there was a discussion about ways of creating global variables that don't involve creating global dataproviders.

In addition to discussing some techniques which are already built into Javascript, I showed a technique I call "formvars" (short for Form Variables) and I made available a module that implements the technique.
