using images(pictures) in RTF-field

Postby Harjo » Mon Jan 12, 2004 10:17 am

Some of my customers (4) have now Servoy installed (demo) with ouer solution, just to play around, and get a feeling and see if they want to switch from Filemaker to Servoy. (BTW: looking very good!! :D :D )

After playing around for a couple of day's almost every customer asked the same feature. that is: to use pictures in a RTF-field.

I'll explain:
I ouer solution there is a possibility to make letters, mailings etc.. (by hand, by email, etc..) We use a RTF-field, to make those letters.
Is it possible to use pictures in a RTF-field?
If not, is it possible to add a mini-wordprocessor in Servoy? (with the abbility to use pictures, ofcourse)

Harjo,

I have tried this but the result was a java error message where the image should have been. The same with tabs etc.

So in short: I would like this too!

I wonder if someone who is using Editize with Servoy can give a brief newbie explanation on how to get it working.

TIA
