Hi to all,
I often need a different definition of the fields to display on a form field "SHOW IN FIELD" and on a list "SHOW IN LIST".
I think it is a common issue to need to display more fields during the selection of a value (SHOW IN LIST) and just one or some of them on the field (SHOW IN FIELD), after the selection is done.

This could require to put the option check boxes (show in field, show in list, return in dataprovider) at the level of the fields.

yes, this is indeed a feature request for us also,
filed it a long time ago, don't know if it's on the top of the priority list.
