horizontal placement of controller-form

Postby Harjo » Thu Nov 13, 2003 12:14 am

Is horizontal placement of the controller-form (mostly used for menu-bar) on the wish-list? If yes, when will it be expected?
Or is it possbile to have them both? :D

I did some trying, placing the menu-bar in a hide-tabpanel. but what a drama if you have more than 40 forms!

In favor...... :D

In addition: I use listview's in the controller. The listview shows the description field from the records from the controller table, so, if I add a record to the controller table, I get an extra button on the controller (and when you click on this description field, a method is started/form is shown (name of form/method also stored in the controller table)).

Now, if you have a horizontal controller (besides a vertical one), it would be very handy to have a sort of horizontal listview, in which the records list horizontally, instead of vertically. (would be limmited to only one field showing per record).

Am I making any sense? 8)
