I wrote a bunch of generic methods in which I often pass parameters that point to a form (instead of form name).
The functions getMethodTriggerFormName(), getMethodTriggerElementName(), getTabFormNameAt(), getSelectedTabFormName(), getFormName() and setMainForm() all work with form (or element-) names (whereby the last function suggests something differently).
Now I always have to convert the form name to a form with forms[formname] or forms[formname].elements[elementname] (and the element must be given a name; i'd like to have access to all elements!).
How about these functions without the "Name" part that work with the object itself?
