Servoy properties matrix

Postby coulombre » Wed Nov 23, 2005 5:33 pm

Hi all,

As I've been writing our upcoming Servoy Essentials training class I really wanted to understand what Servoy keeps track of internally. So... I made a copy of the repository, did some reverse engineering, and came up with a matrix of objects and the properties that Servoy stores. FYI this matrix is completely driven from data extracted from the repository, and then arranged in Excel using the pivot table operation. Some of these properties are visible to developers, others are not visible... but understandable in most cases.

Any place you see a 1 indicates that an object has that property. Objects are listed across the top, properties along the left. FYI this is in PDF form, and you will need to magnify many times to read it properly.

I learned a lot in this exercise, both in terms of how the repository is put together, but also in how Servoy thinks internally.

Hope this helps.

Best,
