Just a little tip.

I often wonder what size a window has and/or where to put an element.

Sometimes I see an application window that I like but need to know the dimensions to really mimic it.

It is nice to know, sometimes, where a window is on a screen.

And there is much more one can think of.

A few months ago I came across a nice litte application that helps me to solve all these questions: xScope.

It has a loupe, guides, rulers, crosshair etc.

Very, very useful!!!

I assume that's a simpler tool than the one you found, but it's ok for some measurements.

Hi Robert,

I know that one too. However, xScope is much more then only a ruler and has much more flexibility.

A nice tool for instance is the loupe, the loupe does not only zoom into the screen but gives position and color of the pixels. etc. etc. etc.

BTW there is also a (new) dimensions tool, measuring distances on the x and y axis. I have never seen something like this, really SUPER...
