Jasper Exception: Please specify an output file

I get the following exception when building a jasper report.
It happens at this line:

var metingReport = plugins.jasperPluginRMI.runReport(selectedRec, 'reportControleResultaat.jasper', null, plugins.jasperPluginRMI.OUTPUT_FORMAT.PDF, null);

org.mozilla.javascript.WrappedException: Wrapped java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: JasperTrace: Jasper Exception: Please specify an output file when calling jasper from a headless client.

Does any one has a clue what this could be? It works fine in my development environment but i get this error in production.

Just to let you know...I have the same issue with Jasper Reports. Perhaps, one of the Jasper Report plug-in developers would be kind enough to respond?
