ireport designer 402 wont start

Hi all,

I have a problem with iReport 402.
When starting the ireport designer the splashscreen appears, but the program window dont load/show up.

I tried it with 32b and 64b java.
Tested it on windows 10 and windows 7. On both OS same problem.

Anyone an idea, solution?

I think iReport doesn't work with Java 8. Maybe that's the problem? You can use Jaspersoft Studio instead. iReport is end of life afaik.

I tried designer 560 same problem.

When I use studio 620 for my templates. Is this compatable with my jasperreport460 plugin in Servoy, or should I use another plugin for this ?
If not the best option is to switch back to jre v7xx, I think

The latest version of the plugin (5.0.0) uses Jasper engine 5.6.1 (I think). So I'd download JasperSoft Studio 5.6.1 from here http://community.jaspersoft.com/project ... o/releases and use that along plugin version 5.
