We are running servoy 7.x application server in a production environment under Windows 2012 server. We have a solution that uses the file plugin that we would like to point at a network share. We tested the application by pointing the default file plugin directory on the application server to C:\ and we are able to access files in this and any subdirectory without problems. When we change the default file plugin directory to V:\ (this drive is mapped to the network share \\cpt\cpt-storage\VisualFactoryResouces ) the plug in’s get server default path comes back blank and we can not access any files on the drive. We have even tried setting permissions to Everyone=Full Control on this share to no avail. The Servoy Application Server service is currently running under SYSTEM credentials. When we check the effective permissions for the mapped drive for SYSTEM, the server server comes back with Full Control.
Any insight on the above or a tutorial on using a network path as the default path for the file plugin would be helpful.
