Postby Roberto Blasco » Fri Nov 13, 2020 12:14 pm

Hi all.

I've donwloaded ServoyCommons from ServoyForge. I need a password in order to import ther "servoyCommons.servoy" solution.

Do I have to ask for the credentials ?

Best regards. Roberto Blasco.

ServoyCommons is quite old and shouldn't be used for any new projects. If you are in Servoy 8, use the Web Package Manager, and use the Servoy solutions in there. Those are the only ones properly maintained.

I'm not aware of any password needed for the sample solutions in Servoy Commons. You can also use SVN to checkout the source directly

Thanks a lot !!!!!

Anyway, Web-Package Manager is designed for ng-solutions only, isn't it?

The Servoy/Web Package Manager works with Smart, Web, or ngClient solutions. It just requires Servoy 8+. However, just keep in mind that some of the things you can download from the manager might be limited to ngClient only, since thats the main focus of new stuff. In the manager, items are grouped by Components, Services, Layouts, Modules, and Solutions. The Components, Services, Layouts, and Solutions are all ngClient only (currently). However there are some items in the Modules that are useful, like svyUtils, svySecurity, etc. for smart/web clients. You can also directly access any of those from Servoy's github without going through the package manager: https://github.com/Servoy
