OAuth for Web/Smart Client

I was wondering what the best way to integrate OAuth into the web and smart client.
I see that Servoy includes a OAuth plugin, but on its wiki, it states that only the ngclient is supported.
Is there any way to use this already included plugin with the other clients.
Alternatively, if anyone would have any advice for making my own OAuth plugin it would be much appreciated.
