four-state (i.e. two-dimensional) barcode bean?

Postby Neale » Mon Oct 18, 2004 8:01 am

Hi,

I need to be able to include postal barcodes on mailing labels. These barcodes are based on four-state barcodes, which are are a two-dimensional barcode.

There was some discussion of barcodes in the Programming with Servoy forum[1], but no reference to anything I could see regarding any postal barcodes.

Further research found the most promising bean to be jbarcodebean[2], but this doesn't appear to do other than one-dimensional barcodes. Nor could I identify any other beans which do a basic four-state barcode.

Does nayone else have any good pointers in this regard?

Thanks,
Neale.

Did you check http://www.idautomation.com ?
They have both beans and fonts that do it.
