First off, this bean rocks! I'm using it in my navigation controller to navigate to the various modules, screens and views in the system.

Quick question, though: In developer on Win2K, I see the usual manilla folders with plus signs. In client, off a Linux server, I see grey folders with a switch, whether I'm opening the client in Win2K or WinXP.

Is this OS-dependent? Is there a way to nail down one view or another within the treeview?

It's LAF dependent. Change the LAF in the client preferences and you get that Look And Feel (LAF).
