Hi all,

Has anyone seen a decrease the performance of the Web Client when deployed on a server? Our apps started acting sluggish after updating the server to 7.4

I'm seeing a few issues with 7.4 that are not a problem in 7.1 - if there are no answers/work-arounds I'll create Issues on JIRA.

DATES
Our Server (Windows 2008 64bit) is in Netherlands and, irrespective of other settings, Dates are displayed in Dutch (ie system default locale) when using a Label but local/UK when using a Field. This is a significant issue as we rarely use Fields on displays except for input.

COPY/PASTE
When using copy/paste the original item(s) are selected - all previous versions of Servoy selected the 'pasted' items which is what you want. There was some previous discussion on this but not aware of any Eclipse settings that can be used to correct this.

PROPERTIES
1) When selecting a Property it is usually necessary to select a 2nd time in order to edit. The first click highlights the item but does not allow editing

2) When multiple elements are selected - ie a bunch of Labels - Servoy does not update the style on screen when moving through the Styles property list using arrow/keys. If only one element has been selected the styles are displayed as you move through them.

@rossent Have not tested back to back but have a reasonably big system (@ 300 Forms) on Servoy 7.4 and seems as stable and fast as when it was running on 7.1

Just some more info, Graham's server (Windows 2008) is in the Netherlands, and was installed with NL locale settings. We changed ALL settings to locale UK ON the server. This works for all locale settings, except if you use a label in webclient, with date formatting. Even forcing the locale in Servoy using i18n.setLocale, does not help....
The server is running Java 7 (64 bit)

@Graham, please post a JIRA ticket, this is definitely a bug in Servoy

Is this date format issue seen in smart or webclient?

JIRA ticket created

SVY-6688 - Dates displayed in Dutch (ie system locale) on Label but local/UK on Fields
(Could not create as a link since the full editor not loading!)

@JanBlok - we only use WebClient.

Hi Juan,

Nobody else than Servoy is (legally) allowed to distribute the installers so you have to ask them directly.
