Servoy 2.1.1 Online Help Is Available

Servoy 2.1.1 online Help is now available for download.

We would like to thank all those who reported issues with using the online Help Navigator.

To download Servoy 2.1.1 online Help:

-Open your Servoy/docs/developer_manual folder/directory.
-Select and delete ONLY ALL THE FILES INSIDE the developer_manual folder/directory.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT DELETE THE developer_manual folder/directory - otherwise, the
download will not work properly.

-Close the Servoy/docs/developer_manual folder/directory.
-Start Servoy Developer (if Servoy is already open, you can skip this step).
-Make sure that you are connected to the internet.
-From the Designer window, Choose Help>Help (F1)
-You should see the "!Documentation!" dialog.
-Press the "OK" button.
-The Servoy 2.1.1 online Help will start downloading.

-Be patient, the Servoy 2.1.1 download file may take a while to download.
(The download time depends on your internet connection and the size of the
download file - approximately 23MB.)

You should see a progress bar in the bottom right section of your Servoy Designer
window that will indicate the progress of the download.

Enhancements and fixes:
[enh]-Added 100+ new index and sub-index entries.
[fix]-Selecting an index entry from the Index tab displays the incorrect topic.
[fix]-Searching for a word from the Search tab produces an incorrect or no result.

To open Servoy 2.1.1 online Help:

-Follow the steps above to download the Servoy 2.1.1 online help.
-Go to the Servoy Designer window.
-Choose Help>Help (F1).
-The Servoy 2.1.1 Help Navigator will open.

These changes to the Servoy Help Navigator do not affect the documentation available
in pdf format or that you can purchase as Servoy books from the online Servoy Store.

Just a small thing I noticed:

When a topic is open and the focus is in the topic area, using the scrollwhell of my mouse doesn't make the area scroll. I have to use the scrollbar.

I all other area's it does work, so I'd expect this not something to do with my scrollmouse setting.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

Currently, we have no control over the scrolling/scrollwheel configuration of the Servoy Help Navigator.
Servoy uses Oracle Java Help to generate the online Help.

We will, however, report this problem.

Currently, the only method of downloading the online Servoy 2.1.1 Help
Navigator are the steps described in the Servoy 2.1.1 documentation
announcement:

-Open your Servoy/docs/developer_manual folder/directory.

Could one do that on one machine, zip/tar up the contents of the Servoy/docs/developer_manual folder/directory then unzip/untar that in the Servoy/docs/developer_manual folder/directory on another machine and expect all to be well?
