Servoy Nominated for Best Business Software 2005

Postby edward » Fri Sep 16, 2005 1:38 pm

It has been announced today that Servoy is a finalist for the award of Best Business Software 2005 having been voted as Best Database by MacUser, Europe's largest Mac publication.

For the 20th Anniversary of the awards, the judging panel were paired off and asked to present their nominated winners in each category, before the remaining panel members were given the chance to add their own selections. After extensive discussions of each nominee, a vote was taken and the finalists for each category were chosen.

MacUser:"We've always been impressed by Servoy, and while elsewhere in the database market we've seen little innovation this year, the company's commitment to the market, and its determination to produce a spectacularly powerful, flexible and scalable product deserves our recognition."

"The Mac was a business machine from the earliest days, yet many Windows die-hards don't see it that way. This category recognises the products that keep the Mac on office desktops worldwide"

As you can imagine, we are thrilled and honoured to have made it this far in such a short space of time and our fingers are crossed that we will be receiving the coveted Maxine trophy for Best Business Software. Its is a testament to the whole development and management team at Servoy and also to you, the developers, who use the product and help to improve it and create solutions for your customers.

The results will be announced at the Annual Awards Dinner, held in London, UK on October 27th. Further information about the event can be found here http://www.macuser.co.uk/images/bookform.pdf

Great news.

Edward - I hope you are organising a Servoy table - or two - so that we can provide proper support when you guys collect the trophy. Please put Worxinfo down for a ticket.

Congratulations to the Servoy team - well deserved recognition.
