Form inheritance, resetting property value override

Postby dfrazier » Thu Oct 04, 2012 4:12 pm

I want to set certain form properties to stop overriding base form property values. I want these properties to go back to using the parent form's property value. How do I do this?

Here is an example. Say I have formP which is the parent form. Then I have formC which is the child form. formC extends formP. Therefore, all the buttons on formP appear on formC as well. Say I move one of the buttons on formC. The location property for the moved button will list its coordinates and next to that it will say "(OVERRIDE)". Makes sense. But let us say that later on I realize I do NOT want to use this override value. I want to just go back to using the parent form's value. How do I do this in the Servoy Developer?

I did not see anything in the IDE itself. I also did not see anything here: http://wiki.servoy.com/display/public/D ... ance+Model
I have just been manually modifying the frm files to do this, but that is not very convenient or easy.
