Identifying related forms in a tab panel

Postby david » Wed Sep 10, 2003 2:21 am

I have five tab panels on a form and 80+ related forms to choose from. How can I tell what related forms a tab panel has? I always rename the text of the related form so that the tab label will be less cryptic (and shorter). Maybe a property could be added to the text portion of a tab panel so that when it is renamed, it still lists the full related form relationship name. Or maybe I'm missing the obvious and it is there in front of me :)

I'm getting a bit lost with only four tables and 20 or so forms. With about 12 relations the list of related forms is starting to get confusing. This is just a small project! I wonder if there is a way to organize this dialogue and break it into sections. That box could become hellish with any decent sized project that involves a lot of tab panels.

We are working on an easier way to indentify which related forms are placed in a tabpanel.

How would you suggest the relations dialog should be organised in order to provide better overview?
