Message to User before Solution Chooser shows up?

In the past, I've only ever had one solution running in production, thereby eliminating the need to ask the user what solution to log into. In future, I'm going to have situations where two solutions are available, and I want them to understand that the lower (vertically in the list) solution, also with the most recent date in its name, is the one they should open. They've never had this dialog before, and are all over the county here. We're just trying to avoid phone calls when people don't realize PRISM_2010_08_10_1643 is a date and what that would mean in comparison to PRISM_2010_08_10_1542.

Any ideas on how I can push a message to the user simply? Can I rename the solution chooser somehow? The modifiable splash screen the server allows me to show appears after you pick a solution, sadly. What am I overlooking?
