Where can I learn more about servers? In what circumstances does it make sense to consolidate to one server, and when it's better to use multiple servers?

There's nothing in the Developer User's Guide, not even an index reference.

Morley,

Where can I learn more about servers? In what circumstances
does it make sense to consolidate to one server, and when it's better to
use multiple servers?

There's nothing in the Developer User's Guide, not even an index
reference.

If you are referring to database server connections,
you might check out the section called "Preferences: DB Servers"
in the Developer User's Guide Settings chapter (page 549).

The reference in the Index is:

-DB Servers

In the online Help (F1) for Servoy RC11 and RC12,
we have also added a chapter called Database Connections.

This additional chapter will also be included as part of the
Servoy 2.0 User's Guide in both pdf and printed format.

If you are referring to Servoy Application Server,
you might want to check out the chapter on Deployment.

On page 585 of the Developer User's Guide in the
Administrating Servoy Server section, there is a note:

"For complete documentation on all aspects of Servoy Server,
refer to the Servoy Application Server Adiministrator's Guide."

The references in the Index include:

-Deployment
-Servoy Application Server

The Servoy Application Server Administrator's Guide:

-Can be purchased in book form from the Servoy Store.
-Can be downloaded online from Servoy:

Go to the Servoy Home page.
Click the Developers link at the top of the page.
Select the Documentation link.
Download the Servoy Application Server Administrator's Guide pdf.

-Is installed with Servoy:

Go to the Servoy application install folder.
Open the "docs" folder.
Launch the ServoyServerManual.pdf
View and/or print the document.

Hope this helps,
