Connection to SQL Server Asleep?

Postby ellenmeserow » Tue Feb 21, 2017 7:42 pm

So we are upgrading to Servoy 7.4 right now, and one of our weirder problems is this: First person to log in on a day gets errors from simple variable settings -- as though the database is unavailable to answer? For instance, I set globals.Tenant = global_to_table.tenant_id -- on first login, no tenant is returned there and a series of cascading errors occur because I don't know what tenant the user is.

After closing out and relogging in, everything will be fine. No one else all day will have the problem. It doesn't seem to have to do with new solutions, or restarting of the servoy service -- it can all be running for days but the first person to log in after about 24 hours will have this again.

Ideas?
