Creating Drop Down Values in Excel from Servoy\Jasper

Postby wes.s.grayson » Mon Apr 09, 2018 10:33 pm

My application helps clients input data and generates an Excel sheet containing the output. The output must match an industry-provided Excel template which has pre-defined drop down values for certain fields. I use Servoy 8.0.3 and Jasper Studio 6.3 to generate Excel files that match, as closely as possible, the required template. The one thing I can't figure out is how to replicate the drop-down values for Excel to display.

I have a macro that can be run after Servoy creates the file that will create the drop-down field values, but wasn't sure if there's a way for Servoy or Jasper to do this.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas, or a better approach to filling in a given spreadsheet with data from Servoy.

thanks!
