"There are are errors/warnings in project" - but where?

Postby c.groefsema » Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:51 am

Hi everyone,

Every now and and then during development (ng client, Servoy 8.2.1.3105) upon launching the message "There are are errors/warnings in project. Are you sure you want to launch?" pops up. I do not want to launch in this case, but determine whether there are indeed errors - I don't care much for warnings - and solve them first. However, when I click Cancel, I haven't got a clue on where the errors are located. How can I navigate to them?

Thanks,
Coos

Hi Coos,

The Servoy IDE has 2 views that shows the Warning/Error/Todo/etc markers, Problems and Markers.
I believe the default Servoy perspective has the Problems view already added. If not, you can add the view(s) via the menu bar > Window > Show View > Other..
This will give you a dialog where you can search for all the available views. Just select them and press the Open button. This will put the view(s) in the perspective and will show you the markers.
I myself prefer the Markers view as it does more than just grouping by marker type.

Hope this helps.
