Searching Help

Postby Morley » Fri Sep 17, 2004 5:02 pm

While reading the forum I've come across a function I've not seen before -- getRecord(). What's the best strategy in finding more basic info on an unfamiliar function?

I tried the Search function in Help 2.1.0.1D 2004. Came up dry. I've manually checked out Controller, Database and Application. Not there either. Without knowing the context (the Forum posting I was reading provided none), this is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Recommendations?

Under search you can only find it under it's object name (foundset).
When you search under Index then you do find it under getRecord.

From the help:
Gets the specified related record of the current cached foundset in the specified form but does not show the record; based on a specified record index.

Hope this helps.
