Copying tables

It's been a couple of months since I've created a new table. In that time I've moved from 2.0 to 2.1.

I originally set up a "table template" as a starter kit with all the fields I want in all tables by default. In the past I was able to copy this table and then revise the name of the pk field. Now for some reason I can't. The table is copied absolutely, no revisions or touchups allowed. I'm using the Table Copy button.

Am I misremembering how to do this, or has this capability been taken away with version 2.1?
