Headless Clients under servoy-admin

Postby Westy » Fri Apr 01, 2005 6:53 pm

When Headless Clients are open from various workstations they are all shown under servoy-admin as being opened from the host PC. Is that the way they should be shown (because they are headless)? If so, could "headless" be added to their description in the servoy-admin Clients page?

Yes - all the "headless" clients are spawned on the SERVER.

As to your other request... I'm sorry - I don't know if that's possible or not.

Allthough I'd like to see the difference on the Admin pages between a regular Client, Developer and a Headless Client as well, you can also add Info to a client as of 2.2 RCx.

This info is shown on the Admin pages, if I'm not mistaken.

So, you could run a method in the Headless Client that will set the info to something like "Headless Client" when the Headless client connects. Allthough I'm not into JSP, maybe it's also possible to specify more info on the machine where the client is run from?

Just some thoughts...
