Spellcheck Plugin problem

Servoy v4.1.7

Customer asked for a spellcheck option to be added to to a text column
The simple one line method is:

Code: Select all

plugins.spellcheck.checkTextComponent(forms.item_list_tab.elements.item_spec);

This works in developer but fails when uploaded to server with following error:

TypeError: Cannot call method 'checkTextComponent' of undefined (item_spellcheck#3

Anybody identify why this should happen ?

It looks like the plugin is not installed on the server.

Did you copy it to the plugins folder? If yes, do you have any other errors in the log?

Missing plugin was my first thought but there is a spellcheck plugin on the server

There is a folder on my development machine which is not on the server as per screenshots attached called 'Spellcheck'

Is this a problem I wonder ?

some how the spellcheck plugins is not transfered to the client.
is it a public server? Can i try to download the client?
(we talk here about the smart client right?)
