While I was at Servoy World I thought I heard mention of some way within Servoy to allow specific users to add/alter the contents of a valuelist that was 'new' (I believe for 6.1). Unfortunately either I didn't make a note of it or I can't find it! I've looked in the Wiki for 6.1 and can't seem to see it there either but it did strike me at the time.
I believe it was something to do with setting a property in the valuelist (or on the field itself?) to allow certain but not all users to add values to a valuelist (either custom, table or relation-based I believe). I know there are ways to do that programmatically of course but I thought this was something simple within Servoy Developer itself. I also don't think it was a security setup (i.e. changing a combobox from non-editable to editable for allowed users) but for the world of me I can't remember exactly what it was... (I thought it could also be used for a type-ahead field that used a valuelist).
Thanks!
