HTML in ComboBox not supported

Postby pbakker » Tue Oct 04, 2005 10:27 pm

Hi,

I've got a ComboBox where I do formatting of the values with HTML. In the webclient the raw HTMl string is shown as value, instead of the formatted value.

I don't think it will be possible to show HTML in a combobox in a webbrowser. Why ?
Simple. Servoy doesn't control the environment anymore. I.e. the browser has to support HTML in comboboxes. And they don't afaik.
Unless ofcourse they are gonna use an applet of some sort...

correct, html spec does not allow html tags inside the option tag from select(=combobox), html in tabtext is working in Servoy 3.0a9
