Looking at two methods at the same time?

When re-factoring code I like to have a tab for the old method and a tab for the new one so I can switch back and forth looking at the old code and writing the new code. In previous versions this was possible to have multiple methods open, but now that everything is in one file eclipse just scrolls down other method when I click on it.
