CVS Commit problem.

CVS Commit problem.

Hi All,

i am getting following problem while committing solution in CVS.
The server reported an error while performing the "cvs add" command.
SolutionName: Protocol error: too many arguments


Any one has any idea about this problem.

After googling it , this seems to be caused by committing too many files .

Hi Laurian,

you mean to say that, CVS can commit or contains limited number of file for the particular application?

You can try not to add all files at once, but in more steps (if indeed you have a very large number of files).
