Resurrecting projects.

Postby AlanBourke » Fri Aug 19, 2011 4:10 pm

I had a little test project which I removed from the Solutions list by deleting it (without deleting the files). Later I decided to bring it back, but noticed that the Import function only works with .servoy files and I realised that what I should have done was exported first.

I tried renaming the folder in the workspace, creating a new solution with the same name, and copying the contents of the original over but this doesn't seem to work (different GUIDs or similar issue, I assume).

Anyway, for future reference, is there any way to resurrect a project like this without a .servoy file ?

If the files are still in your workspace, I believe you can just create a new solution with the same name.

File->Import->General->Existing Projects into Workspace

that should work also if you still have the dir.
