Checking out From Repository with 1109 RMI-Port

Postby stefbrt » Mon Aug 29, 2011 10:12 am

Hi all

we want to checkout our solution from the repository. We changed the RMI and the HTTP port. In the checkout dialog I write:
server address: 10.0.1.3:1109
user: myUser
password: myPassword

error is allways:
Cannot get solutions from: 10.0.1.3:1109
Error getting the repository from host: 10.0.1.3:1099

How can I say my developer to connect to the rmi port 1109

Regards, Stefan

Hi Stefan,

do you have set the port 1109 in localhost:8080/servoy-admin/network-settings at 'servoy.rmiStartPort: '?

Hi Thomas

Yes I set the sever RMI port and the local one but it didn't work. The error stays the same.

please make sure there are no spaces at the end of the server address;
this issue will be fixed in the upcoming release

Hi Gabi

I testet if the spaces are the Problem but there are no spaces behind the server address. So I think this is not the same issue but I am not sure.

Hi Stefan,

I guess the repository server is on a different machine, but in the same IP room as your local machine? Have you checked the firewall settings? Perhaps the port is blocked.

restart the developer, and use the address with no spaces after it;
