Servoy and Eclipse Plugins (Plastic scm)

Postby h.schurink » Mon Sep 09, 2013 3:07 pm

Hello

1st: I am new to Servoy and this is my fist post in your forum.

I have the following problem: We are setting up Servoy to use Plastic SCM. Plastic has an eclipse plugin. I suppose this could also work with Servoy ?
The plastic installer will install his own server components and a Eclipse plugin for which it asked for the Eclipse program folder. I pointed the installer to the servoy\developer folder and it did not complain about this. There are 3 new files in the plugins folder, so the installer seems to do something.

But: in Servoy the plastic plugins should by visible in the team menu. It is not.

Questions:
Am i doing something wrong? Is it possible at all?
Did anybody get plastic working with Servoy?
What are the steps i can take to get this working?

TIA
Harry

Its very hard to say what goes wrong.
Servoy is just another plugin ontop of eclipse
As general rule you should install all additional eclipse plugins via "Help" > "Install new software" > enter an update site url like:
http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates
this always works.
