Oracle 11g performance tip

Hi,

We build a solution with Oracle 10gr2. (10.2.04)

When running the same solution on Oracle 11gR1 (11.1.06) we noticed some performance issues.

These can occur when Servoy uses queries like : select * from ( select .... ) where rownum <200

This is a bug in the Oracle Cost Based Optimizer , so if your schema is analyzed you can run into this.

The bug is fixed in 11.1.07. There is a patchset on the Oracle Melink site.

We upgraded the database and the problem is gone.
