dbidentity

Postby lesouef » Tue May 07, 2013 7:24 pm

coming across a weird problem...
got this in the log file on server:
No DbIdent for this row: Row(db:/alice_echange/grepclient)[DATA:l_uid=99A32294-0245-41D0-B3C7-D268A40F3200,client=2085897,nom=EC_FACT_2085897_002302050_8582734_xxxxxxxxxxxx.pdf,chemin=\\grfp-alice\alice5b\Rep_clients\PAGEMEETING 2085897\EC_FACT_2085897_002302050_8582734_xxxxxxxxxx.pdf,date_mod=2013-01-29 10:35:55.94,taille=650,type_fichier=pdf,grepclientid=DbIdentValue23524364, CALCULATIONS: {}]
which sounds like the dbidentity is not seen by servoy, but the record is created ok and has a correct id.
also, the problem does not happen within the developper connected to the same db!
using a servoy seq instead of dbidentity fixes it, but we now give up on servoy seq as we currently have several apps inserting recs in the same db

servoy 5.2.16, msql 2008, driver jtds on both dev et server.
is it worth to use the mssql driver? we just switched on the jtds because we found some find queries much faster using the jtds. jtds gives similar results as the microsoft studio while the mssql is sometimes 10 times slower, especially on "likes" selection.
