stored procedures - timeout issues

are there any timeout issues regarding calling stored procedures?

i have a sp which copies a number records in a table (by selection criteria of an input param) - when i call this in SQL query analyser it copies all the records matching the criteria - when i call the sp via servoy it only seems to copy 1 record for the same criteria

i was wondering whether when sp's are called from servoy - do they run to completion (however long they take to run) or does servoy terminate the sp from running after a specified amount of time?
