Common Repository

Postby mpwiedemann » Thu Jun 12, 2003 10:31 pm

Hi All,

I have 2 machines. 1 - Windows XP used for development and 1 RH Linux used to serve. Using Servoy R1.01 . I have both machines pointed at a common repository located on MS-SQL 2000. After stopping the Linux box and re-starting, it will no longer find/connect to the repository and asks me to upgrade. I go to the Repository setup dialog and click 'Check Repository' and get the following error:

"Repository is newer than software! Repository version: 16, software version: 15, upgrade software first."

Don't know what to do next. The Windows box will open just fine.

Thanks,
Martin

Can you check the build number of both Servoy's you are running? It looks like the one on the Linux box is a version behind.

The Linux box is build # 256 and the Windows box is build # 257. I downloaded your latest Linux/Unix build from the developer section, installed it and it is still 256. How do I get build 257?

Thanks,
Martin

257 is the buildnumber of 1.1RC2 that has only been announced in this forum. You can't find it on the main website yet as it is a beta release. You can download the linux version of 257 here:
