Auto enter values

Hi

Can I set the properties for auto enter values programatically (in code in the editor)? Instead of using the Data Providers screen where I select a table and a column and then select the properties for that column?

Why do I have such a strange idea: One way of changing records should set a modification date attribute. An other way, where just a flag is set, should not.
