Servoy 5.1 requires different java ports

Postby maria » Thu Nov 04, 2010 1:26 am

Hi all,

We've got a Servoy 5.1 service running on a customer site and every now and then, upon importing a new solution, we have to change the rmi port from 1099 to 1055 or 1098, otherwise the client won't start.
What can be causing this behaviour?

Cheers,
Maria

then something is already running on that port on the server?
maybe a previous instance is not completely gone when you start again?

The previous instance of what, sorry?
All clients are shutdown at that point and the server restarted.

Johan is referring to the server.
Maybe you have a 2nd application server running or developer?
Or something else is using that port as well...
